8 Years On
It is now 8 Years since the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York, The Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia and the aircraft that met its end in Pennsylvania.
This Budweiser advertisement that is part of a series of Clydesdale themed ads, aired only once during the 2002 Superbowl and is still the one thing I think of every time 9/11 is mentioned. It is able to convey what a lot of us wanted to say but couldn’t muster up in words after the attacks.

This is the first time I’ve seen the add. But must admit I find it most poignant.

No problem. I find it strangely respectful and even beautiful in some aspects. Best ad I have yet to see.
The fact it only aired once too, made me not wary of the company trying to wrap itself in post-9/11 patriotism.
