Safari hits Windows
Jun 12th
The popular Apple browser ‘Safari’ has released a new Beta and for the first time Windows users can use it! I ran into problems just after installing it. I could not type in the address box and I could see no text, to fix this copy the font files in the Safari resources folder to the fonts folder on your PC and it should work fine. Other than that it is worth giving it a try. You can download it via the Apple site here.
Safari is a web browser developed by Apple Inc., and included in Mac OS X. It was first released as a public beta on 7 January 2003, and a final version was included as the default browser in Mac OS X v10.3. A preview version for Windows was released for the first time on 11 June 2007.

Time to rug up
Jun 1st
Lately it has been quite cold around where I live, it also has finally rained quite a bit which is a bit of a relief. The only downside is the obvious cold and the fact that for the first time in 18 months we had to switch our heater on. It is a weird feeling to be very cold, our dog who is a Border Collie gets cold at night too so even though she has a thick coat she feels it too.
I myself prefer it cold to hot as it is much easier to warm up than cool down but still this a bit much for me. Walking the dog is hell when the ground is wet, the grass is long and it is cold out. A very bad feeling indeed.
