Safari hits Windows

ployscreensaf1.jpgThe popular Apple browser ‘Safari’ has released a new Beta and for the first time Windows users can use it! I ran into problems just after installing it. I could not type in the address box and I could see no text, to fix this copy the font files in the Safari resources folder to the fonts folder on your PC and it should work fine. Other than that it is worth giving it a try. You can download it via the Apple site here.

Safari is a web browser developed by Apple Inc., and included in Mac OS X. It was first released as a public beta on 7 January 2003, and a final version was included as the default browser in Mac OS X v10.3. A preview version for Windows was released for the first time on 11 June 2007.
