I am an old man

70471_dark_tan.jpgI am getting a new pair of Moccasins tomorrow, whenever I get a pair of slippers it makes me feel like I should be entering a retirement home. Wearing slippers is perfectly normal but it still makes me feel old. Mostly because my Grandma, Nana, Mum and my father all of whom are over 50 wear slippers. It’s a family tradition get old, wear slippers and live in coastal areas.

Tornado hits near Geelong

A MINI tornado had storm watchers scurrying for cameras near Geelong yesterday. The tornado could be seen stretching up to 1500m into the clouds near the You Yangs Regional Park about 3pm. Weather bureau senior forecaster Phil King said the tornado lasted for about eight minutes and was the result of an ordinary thunderstorm near the You Yangs. “These things happen more often than you’d think but because they’re only short-lived we don’t often hear about them,” Mr King said. He said the tornado would have created winds of more than 100km/h, but did not cause any damage in the remote location.
